When we give our tithes and offerings, we give out of love and obedience.  We love Jesus because He loves us and gave His life for us.  In gratitude, we give with a joyful heart.  God also tells us in His word that we should give back to Him just a portion of what He so generously gives us and that we will receive blessings because of our obedience.
